Awards and Distinctions Committee

The Awards and Distinctions Committee is charged with maintaining the eligibility criteria for the Distinguished Fellow designation, reviewing applications for Distinguished Fellow, and recommending candidates for approval by the Distinguished Fellows of the Society. The Awards and Distinctions Committee is also responsible for selecting honorary members, recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award and recipients of the Medal of Innovation in Vascular Surgery. Members of the Committee may seek additional information regarding the applicants from individuals who may have first-had knowledge of their qualifications.
