Let’s Keep the Action Going…
From sending emails to lawmakers from social media to amplifying legislative issues to donating to the Society for Vascular Surgery Political Action Committee, SVS members supported the Society’s first-ever Advocacy “Week of Action.” Thanks to your help, we were able to:
- Send nearly 200 individual messages to federal lawmakers urging action to prevent pending Medicare payment reductions and to support legislative action on prior authorization bills
- Post messages to an audience of over 5,000 people on social media platforms on the issues critical to the specialty and on the importance of advocacy
- Made the investment in the future of the specialty by raising over $13,000 for SVS PAC – the only political action committee that seeks to advance and protect vascular surgery.
