Affiliate Membership
Eligibility
Affiliate membership is available to non-physicians who have demonstrated an active interest in the field of vascular disease, including, but not limited to:
- Vascular nurses
- Vascular technologists
- Physician assistants
- Nurse Practitioners
- Hospital and Practice Administrators
Dues for Affiliate members are $59 annually.
How to apply
Download the above application for Affiliate membership and submit the completed documentation. You will need to include: a completed application form, including the names and contact information of two physicians who sponsor of your application, one of which must be a member of SVS in good standing, and a curriculum vitae. Submit completed application materials to membership@vascularsociety.org.

SVN applications are approved on a rolling basis and can be submitted online. Once you have been approved and paid your SVN dues, your dual membership with the SVS will become active and you will have all the benefits of SVN and SVS Membership.

Exclusive Offer for Physician Assistants
As an added-value benefit for PAs the SVS has approved the formation of an SVS PA Section. The SVS PA Section is a “professional home” for PAs working in vascular care settings. The SVS PA Section will be working to serve the vascular PA community by providing PA-specific education at the Vascular Annual Meeting, networking and peer mentoring opportunities, and leadership development through SVS committee engagement.
By completing the Affiliate application, validating that you meet the membership criteria, and paying your Affiliate membership dues, you will be automatically enrolled as a member of the SVS PA Section. After paying your Affiliate membership dues, there are no additional fees to join the PA Section.
Review Process
Membership applications are now reviewed on a quarterly basis. Deadlines are on the first of the month in March, June, September and December. Completed applications will be reviewed by the SVS Membership Committee, which will forward its recommendations to the SVS Executive Board for final approval.
Any applicant who is not extended membership, will receive an explanation and invited to reapply. A new application must be submitted.
