The SVS is excited to announce that the Vascular Surgery MIPS Value Pathway (MVP) has been posted for public comment with CMS.
The development of Vascular Surgery MVP is the first step in developing the specific, required quality metrics that improve vascular care
The public comment period will be from Dec. 11 - Jan. 24, 2025.
Call for Member Comments on SVS Clinical Guidelines
The SVS invites members to comment on the draft guideline, "Society for Vascular Surgery Clinical Practice Guideline on the Management of Intermittent Claudication: Focused Update."
Your comments will provide the writing panel and the SVS Document Oversight Committee with valuable input to produce the final version of the guideline.
Comments are due by Monday, Dec. 23, 2024.

CME Credit Process Update
The American Board of Surgery (ABS) Discontinued the CME Credit Self-Claiming Process for Diplomates on July 1, 2023.
ABS recently made changes to its CME processes, which impact the way that Diplomates interact with the Board, upload CME credits and meet certification requirements. SVS is committed to complying with the new rules and making your ability to claim credit as seamless as possible, however, we are still aligning our systems to meet the new requirements. Ensure your CME credits earned with SVS are transferred to ABS by clicking the link below.
