Section on Pediatric Vascular Care

In 2025, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) approved the Section on Pediatric Vascular Care (SPVC). The primary goal of the SPVC is to augment educational resources, training and establish best practice for pediatric vascular disease based on best evidence-based protocols such that practicing vascular surgeons are prepared to manage these special patients and pediatric surgeons can rely on their local vascular surgeons to provide technical assistance for multidisciplinary cases.
