Arab American Vascular Surgeons Section
In 2025, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) created the Arab American Vascular Surgeons Section (AAVSS). AAVSS will foster the professional and cultural development of Arab American vascular surgeons by providing networking and community building for the members; mentorship opportunities for medical students; address how cultural and healthcare access factors influence patient’s vascular health outcomes to ultimately improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment; and promote the exchange and collaboration between the SVS and Arab vascular societies and surgeons.
Eligibility
AAVSS membership is available to all SVS members in good standing who are interested in addressing how cultural and healthcare access factors influence patients’ vascular health outcomes to ultimately improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
