Leadership Development Program (Cohort 6)
Overview
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) offers vascular surgeons an interactive and tailored learning experience. The curriculum is drawn from the highest quality evidenced-based model on leadership stemming from Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner’s, The Leadership Challenge, with an intense focus on applying this knowledge to the real-life challenges vascular surgeons face. The LDP aims to empower participants to reach their full potential as leaders in their medical practices, communities, and other areas of their lives.
The LDP consists of:
- Two in-person sessions,
- One webinar, including faculty-led online discussion,
- Mentoring calls,
- Short, on demand videos and activities that suit busy schedules.
Forge lasting connections, find joy in your profession, and contribute to a brighter future for yourself and the field…and earn CME credits while you do it! Registration will open in April.
Learning Objectives
By participating in this CME activity, the learner will be able to:
- Recognize the functional day-to-day behaviors that drive success in leadership.
- Understand the larger context of where physicians lead and can lead most effectively in complex health delivery systems.
- Apply selected leadership behavior in interactive learning scenarios to strengthen individualized learning, i.e., conflict resolution, team, and trust building.
- Apply a renewed passion for working in the profession of medicine, and specialty of vascular surgery.
Registration
Registration opens April 1! Save the date and register on April 1 to secure your spot.
