Recharge your intellectual batteries, relax with colleagues and old friends and delve into the latest science, techniques and practice changes at the 2019 Vascular Annual Meeting.

Each year the VAM volunteers, led this year by Program Committee Chair Dr. Matthew Eagleton, work to outdo themselves from the year before.

Here’s a sneak preview of what you can expect and need to know –

Vascular Spectacular Gala

A gala in support of the SVS Foundation will add a spark of glamour to the evening festivities Friday, June 14. Buy a ticket for yourself or a table with your colleagues and join in the fun. Special guest speakers and events will make this the talk of the VAM. Read all about the Vascular Spectacular Gala.

Ask the Experts

Got a lot of questions? We’ve got a lot of answers from experts and giants in the vascular field who will share their experience and advice in daily sessions that will pique your curiosity. Due to high interest last year, more sessions will be added to keep a small group atmosphere.

Events for you and you and you

Young surgeons, fellows, residents and students, physician assistants, nurses, mid-career surgeons, outpatient center surgeons and those considering retirement – whichever career path you have chosen and wherever you are along the way, we have sessions that meet your needs. Our schedule icons make it easy to find sessions for targeted interests. Bonus: The Society for Vascular Nursing and the Vascular Quality Initiative are meeting at the same time and place!

More About Wellness

It’s no longer a secret, burnout is a real thing. The SVS Wellness Task Force initiatives will be an important part of this year’s meeting.

Exhibit Hall, Can’t Miss It

The exhibit hall at VAM is always a good time – innovative devices are displayed at industry booths, Vascular Live offers real-time updates from your colleagues, the Scavenger Hunt will be back (with amazing prizes worth up to $3,000), and you can check in with the SVS booth if you need to ask a question. Oh, and this is where we serve lunch! Don’t miss the opening and closing receptions, Thursday and Friday evenings. Thursday’s reception includes the interactive poster session.

Grow your network

From exhibit hall lunches, receptions, coffee breaks and other events, everyone will have a chance to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Did we mention the Gala? People you know will be there!

Come for Wednesday, stay for Saturday

Don’t miss out – VAM19 will feature expanded programming starting Wednesday, June 12. Your registration fee includes our Wednesday postgraduate sessions –a $300 savings. Self-assessment credit will be available to all physician attendees.  Any attendee registering for only the postgraduate courses will be required to pay a registration fee. Wednesday is also chock-full of events for international guests!

Stay through Saturday for the Homans and Greenberg lectures, the SVS business meeting with leadership announcements, and the popular Aortic Summit.

Get the credit you deserve

Attendees can earn self-assessment credits toward Part 2 of the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program, in addition to traditional CME.  Self-assessment credit will be offered for postgraduate courses, Friday and Saturday’s breakfast sessions, nine plenary/scientific sessions and the RPVI Exam Review Course.  You will find the link for CME credit on the meeting’s mobile app.

A fine-tuned, website itinerary planner will sync with your mobile meeting app. Set up your schedule, connect with friends, even collect your CME and MOC credits, all with a few taps on the screen. Our text-to-screen function lets you ask the moderator questions during the sessions.
