Stanford Vascular Surgery in Palo Alto - two-year, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited fellowship

Sponsored by Outside Organization

Stanford Vascular Surgery in Palo Alto, California, has a unique opportunity for a two-year, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited fellowship leading to board certification in Vascular Surgery– to begin in August 2025.

General Surgery boarded or board-eligible (by August 2025) applicants are welcome to apply as soon as possible.

The fellowship is comprised of a busy clinical experience involving, as the primary surgeon, a large number and variety of open and endovascular cases and supervising the management of an active inpatient vascular surgery service for equal amounts of time. These are performed at our three affiliated hospitals with a heterogeneous mix of patient populations, the county hospital Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, the VA Palo Alto Hospital, and the complex referral practice at Stanford University Medical Center. There is an emphasis on complex aortic pathology, advanced endovascular interventions, noninvasive diagnosis, and clinical research. There is ample opportunity to present at national meetings and produce peer-reviewed publications during both years.
