VESAP5 Financial Disclosures
As an organization accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education, the SVS must ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all its individually sponsored educational activities. In accordance with ACCME guidelines and standards, all faculties participating in an accredited activity must disclose to the audience any financial interest or other relationship with 1) the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in an educational presentation and 2) any commercial supporters of the activity, within the previous 12 months. (Financial interest or other relationships can include such things as grants or research support, employment, consultancy, major stockholdings, membership of speakers' bureau, etc.) The ACCME defines a commercial interest as “any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients.” Listed below are the disclosures provided by the faculty of this meeting.
The individuals listed below have indicated, that they have a financial relationship (e.g., ownership of stock, grants, honoraria, or consulting fees). All remaining individuals with control over CME content have no financial interests or relationships to disclose.
