The Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC) emphasizes the exchange of basic and translational vascular science that stimulates thoughtful discussion and motivates participants to discover solutions to important problems affecting vascular patients. The VRIC brings together vascular surgeons, vascular biologists, physicians with an interest in vascular problems, vascular surgery trainees and research trainees in vascular surgery and vascular biology. 

VRIC 2022, with the theme "Translational Immunology and Cardiovascular Disease," will take place the day before the American Heart Association's Vascular Discovery 2022 Conference in Seattle, Washington (May 12-14).

Health & Safety Protocols

We are delighted to welcome our VRIC attendees, staff and guests to Seattle for VRIC 2022.  The health and safety of our members and guests are of primary importance.  We have been monitoring the current situation with COVID-19, and are taking measures to support compliance with Center for Disease Control and King County guidelines.

At a minimum, you can expect the following health and safety protocols to be in place: 

Proof of Vaccination/Negative COVID test (within 72 hours of travel). All attendees and staff will be required to provide proof of vaccination OR negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of arrival date in Seattle.  All individuals will need to present documentation at the on-site registration, just outside the session room, prior to being issued an official meeting badge.

Masks: Masks will be optional for this event.
