UMass Chan - Baystate Medical Center Vascular Surgery Fellowship
The newly approved Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UMass Chan - Baystate Medical Center is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill one (1) fellowship position outside the match to start August 1, 2025. Candidates will have completed a general surgery residency and will be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Interviews will be held virtually.
The mission of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UMass Chan - Baystate is to develop outstanding vascular surgeons with the knowledge and skills to build productive and fulfilling careers as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders within the field. As one of the busiest vascular centers in New England, we provide extensive and comprehensive training in all aspects of vascular care. This includes robust experience with both open and endovascular techniques including complex endovascular aortic intervention. We routinely perform more than 750 major vascular operations annually. With a diverse faculty, state of the art facilities, and a robust support staff, we provide an excellent training environment. We have a strong general surgery residency and undergraduate medical education which affords our fellows the opportunity to hone their teaching and research skills.
