Research Opportunities

This training program, the Harvard-Longwood Research Training in Vascular Surgery program, currently in its 26th year is designed to provide two years of intense basic and outcomes research training in vascular surgery for academic clinicians.

The CardioVascular Innovation in Surgery and Engineering (CVISE) Center at Washington University in St. Louis is home to the first innovation fellowship funded by a T32 training grant from the NIH National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. This $3 million training grant supports engineering and surgical trainees interested in collaborating on innovations in cardiovascular surgery.
