Opportunities and Priorities

Members of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) are leaders in vascular research. We encourage the interest and development of investigators by providing a forum for collaboration and dissemination of advancements in clinical, outcomes, comparative effectiveness, translational, and basic science research.

SVS research activities, resources and educational programs include awards and scholarship opportunities offered by SVS and SVS Foundation and the annual Vascular Research Initiatives Conference where vascular surgeon investigators and scientists vascular biology-related disciplines present their leading-edge work in basic science and translational research.

Vascular Quality Initiative

SVS is dedicated to helping members provide the highest quality of care possible to their patients. The Vascular Quality Initiative® improves the quality, safety, effectiveness and cost of vascular health care by collecting, analyzing and sharing clinical data.
