Encourage Vascular Nurses to Attend SVN Convention

SVS members, encourage all vascular nurses and vascular technologists to attend the Society for Vascular Nursing’s (SVN) 35th Annual Convention, to benefit vascular nurses, nurse practitioners, vascular technologists, cardiovascular nurses, physician assistants and nurses/techs working in cath labs, angio suites or endovascular operating rooms.  

The convention will be held April 4 to 7 in at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. SVS President-Elect Dr. R. Clement Darling III will open the general session of the meeting with a presentation on the “History of Vascular Surgery.” 

The convention is the premiere meeting for vascular nurses to facilitate professional development and networking. The program will include sessions focused on carotid disease, venous thromboembolism, cardiovascular issues, lower extremity and PAD, wound care, critical limb ischemia, radiology, ultrasound, renal disease and more. 

The SVN established an alliance and management home with the SVS in January. SVN’s mission is to provide a professional community and educational opportunities for vascular nurses to advance the care of persons living with vascular disease through excellence in clinical practice, education and research.
