Best Endovascular vs. Best Surgical Therapy in Patients with Critical Limb Ischemia (BEST-CLI)
BEST-CLI is an international research study aimed at figuring out the best treatment for people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) - also known as poor blood flow, and associated with Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI). It is Federally funded by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health. The results have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
