Mayo Clinic Vascular Surgery – Integrated Residency PGY-2 Position
The Division of Vascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking to fill one (1) categorical PGY-2 position beginning July 2025. The anticipated graduation date for candidates selected will depend on the applicant’s current operative case log and successful completion of all residency requirements.
The Vascular Surgery Residency program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The residency fulfills all criteria for admissibility to the American Board of Surgery examinations for vascular surgery and during the fourth year of residency training, resident will be eligible to take the RPVI written examination. Our emphasis is on surgical skills training, academic career opportunities, individual mentoring, and a curated didactic experience.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be no more than two (2) years out of surgical training. Completion of a PGY-1 year in an ACGME-accredited General Surgery training program is required, with documentation of good standing. U.S. clinical General Surgery training through an ACGME-accredited program is necessary.
