SVS, and the Section on Ambulatory Vascular Care (SAVC) has partnered with Provista, to form a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). This benefit is designed to help SVS members in private practice access competitive pricing on medical supplies, devices, pharmaceuticals, and services.

The goal of this partnership is to support private practices by providing access to quality vendors and potential cost-saving opportunities.

FAQs

Are there any fees to participate in the GPO?

Participation in the GPO is free for SVS members. There are no annual fees, sign-on fees, or additional fees required to participate. This is strictly a member benefit. 

Are there any requirements to participate in the GPO?

To begin learning about the GPO, at least one vascular surgeon in the private practice must be a member of the SVS and SAVC. If the practice chooses to join the GPO after completing the review process, at least 50% of its vascular surgeons must be members of both the SVS and SAVC.

What is the timeline to join the GPO?

From initial contact to becoming a member is 90-120 days. 

What are the next steps?

First, complete the contact form. If your practice meets the eligibility requirements, you’ll be invited to complete a cost study analysis to evaluate the potential savings the GPO can offer. Once the study is completed and reviewed, you’ll have the opportunity to decide whether to join the GPO. If you choose to proceed, your practice will begin receiving cost savings through the GPO.
