The 2018 data submission period is open for Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) eligible clinicians who participated in the 2018 Quality Payment Program (QPP). Please note that your data must be submitted before the submission period closes on April 2, 2019.
The following two exceptions for data submission should be noted:
- Participants who use the CMS web interface are required to report quality data between Jan. 22 and March 22, 2019.
- Data for clinicians who report quality measures using Medicare Part B claims throughout the performance year will be obtained from claims processed by the Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC). Claims for services provided during 2018 must be processed within 60 days after the end of the 2018 performance period for quality measures reported via claims.
You can submit your 2018 MIPS data by going to the Quality Payment Program website. To log in and submit your 2018 Year 2 MIPS data, use the new HCQIS Authorization Roles and Profile (HARP) system. Previously, clinicians received their credentials through the Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) system. SVS members are encouraged to log in now to familiarize themselves with the system.
- Previous EIDM Accounts: Clinicians who previously had an EIDM account were automatically transitioned to HARP and will use their existing EIDM user ID and password to sign in to the QPP website.
- New Clinicians: All clinicians who didn’t have an EIDM account will need to enroll with HARP. For a step-by-step guide to signing up for a HARP account, refer to the QPP Access User Guide.
