Jan 31, 2020

The deadline is March 1 for nominating a fellow SVS member for the society’s Lifetime Achievement Award or Medal for Innovation in Vascular Surgery, and for applications for the Distinguished Fellow Designation.

All will be recognized at the Vascular Annual Meeting in June.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual’s outstanding and sustained contributions to both the vascular surgery profession and to the SVS, as well as exemplary professional practice and leadership.

The SVS Medal for Innovation in Vascular Surgery honors an individual or individuals whose contributions have transformed the practice or science of vascular surgery.

The Distinguished Fellow Designation recognizes members who have provided sustained and substantial contributions to vascular surgery through research, teaching, clinical and/or creative accomplishments.

In addition, SVS Foundation awards with March 1 application dates include the Community Awareness and Prevention Project Grant, E.J. Wyle Traveling Fellowship as well as the Clinical Research Seed Grant.
