The SVS Executive Board is seeking members with a desire to explore and advance technology-based health improvements for vascular patients. Potential volunteers should have a strong interest in, as well as some experience with, technology-related health improvements, medical informatics, etc.

The task force's initial scope of work would include:

1. Scanning the current environment for innovations and advances in health technology that have application to vascular health and vascular surgery care

2. Developing or reviewing specific proposals for health technology projects within the SVS or with other collaborating partners

3. Assisting SVS in developing overarching health technology strategy

Monthly calls are anticipated to start, with the potential for a face-to-face meeting at VEITHsymposium or the Vascular Annual Meeting.  Selected task force members will collaborate with non-member industry technology experts as well as SVS leadership. Those who would like to be considered for this task force should e-mail a brief statement of interest to: ehall@vascularsociety.org by Tuesday, Aug. 6
