The SVS 75th anniversary will culminate at the 2022 VAM in Boston with a 75th Anniversary Gala celebration. The Gala will be a collaborative event between the SVS and the SVS Foundation, with the dual purpose of celebrating the SVS 75th Anniversary and serving as a fundraiser for the SVS Foundation. The SVS and Foundation are looking for volunteers to serve on the 2022 Gala Committee.

The mission of the SVS Foundation is to optimize the vascular health and well-being of patients and the public through support of research that leads to discovery of knowledge and innovative strategies, as well as education and programs, to prevent and treat circulatory disease.

Interpretation of non-invasive vascular laboratory testing should be a part of any vascular surgical practice. The combination of practical experience, knowledge of vascular disease, and knowledge of non-invasive vascular testing makes vascular surgeons uniquely qualified to interpret vascular laboratory testing. Therefore, all vascular surgeons should aim to participate in the interpretation of non-invasive diagnostic testing.
