The editor-in-chief of the Journal of Vascular Surgery Cases, Innovations and Techniques (JVS-CIT) requests applications for the following position:

Associate Editor/DEI Officer

Prior service on the Editorial Board of the JVS-CIT or other JVS publications is preferable but not required. The individual must be an Active or Senior Member of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS). The criteria for selection for this position also include evidence of scholarly activity through peer-reviewing and publishing. Editors will act on approximately 200 submissions a year, which includes assigning reviewers, evaluating the reviews, communicating with authors, evaluating authors' responses and making recommendations to the editor-in-chief on final manuscript publication. Applicants should also have an interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) as applied to academic publishing.

An annual financial stipend is provided for these positions. The term of the appointment is 3 years and will commence on Sept. 1, 2024.
