Northwestern Vascular Symposium

The Annual Northwestern Vascular Symposium was the innovation of vascular surgeons John J. Bergan, MD, and James S.T. Yao, MD. The first symposium was held in December 1976 and has been held each December thereafter. Today, the symposium unites 50 national vascular care experts each year and consists of a comprehensive overview of the full spectrum of vascular surgery. Experts produce a chapter on their respective topics that are included in a yearly textbook and present their topic during the conference.

The 2024 symposium will be held on December 12-14, 2024, at the InterContinental Chicago, located at 505 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL.
