Atlantic Health System Vascular Fellowship

Atlantic Health System in Morristown has received accreditation for a 5 + 2 independent vascular surgery fellowship. It will be looking to fill its first-year position outside of the match starting on July 1, 2027. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the program will accept one PGY-5 resident. 

About the Program

The Vascular Fellowship at Atlantic Health System is a two-year program recently receiving accreditation by the ACGME.  Fellows will be working at one hospital, Morristown Medical Center, and one office setting on the same campus.  There are 10 full-time vascular attendings at the 748-bed hospital.  Over 2491 vascular cases are performed annually at the hospital, many in one of our three hybrid endovascular operating rooms. An additional 1740 angiographic cases are performed annually in our office-based lab, which features two fixed Siemen Artis Zeego rooms. Over 500 vein procedures are performed annually at the office.   

Fellows will receive expert training in open and endovascular arterial/aortic procedures, dialysis access, vein treatment, spine exposure and all other aspects of vascular care.  They will complete a vascular lab curriculum for fulfillment of RPVI.  Research in our facility is primarily clinically oriented, and will be directed by our full-time research coordinator.  We participate in many clinical trials and often get early access to new endovascular technology.

Morristown is situated in suburban northern New Jersey, with excellent surrounding schools and neighborhoods.  We are an hour from NYC by train or car.
