Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) travel scholarships for trainees to attend the Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM) are set to begin accepting applications on April 21.
The SVS offers two categories of travel scholarships for VAM—the SVS General Surgery Resident/Medical Student Vascular Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship and the SVS Diversity Medical Student Vascular Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship.
Both provide prospective vascular surgeons with an opportunity to learn more about the latest treatments and research in vascular disease. During the VAM meeting, trainees will be able to attend scientific sessions, network with leaders in the field and attend educational programming designed exclusively for students and residents.
Applications open April 21; submissions close May 19. Notifications will go out in mid-June.
