Audible Bleeding: Call for Volunteers

Audible Bleeding: The Vascular Surgery Podcast is expanding its editorial board. Vascular surgery trainees, medical students, general surgery residents and attending physicians are invited to apply.

Serving on the Audible Bleeding editorial board is an opportunity to:

  • Strengthen your CV
  • Build relationships with trainees and attending physicians across the vascular surgery community
  • Share your ideas and perspectives
  • Gain hands-on experience developing and producing podcast episodes

Little to no prior podcasting experience is required.

What Does an Audible Bleeding Editor Do?

Editors help bring podcast episodes from idea to publication. Depending on your interests and experience, you may:

  • Identify episode topics and potential guests
  • Help develop interview questions and episode structure 
  • Interview guests or serve as a regular podcast host
  • Edit and prepare episodes for publication
  • Help publish and promote completed episodes

Commitment

Editorial board members are expected to:

  • Attend monthly meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. PT
    We understand that conflicts arise, but members should plan to attend at least every other month.
  • Contribute to approximately six episodes each year
  • Commit approximately one to three hours per month
