In response to a bylaw referendum approved in 2023, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) has expanded its Executive Board from nine to 11 members, incorporating five new at-large positions alongside the six elected officers. This restructuring aims to provide the organization with greater flexibility to address SVS' evolving needs and enhance the representation of its increasingly diverse membership.
Following an open nomination process, the SVS Nominating Committee reviewed 45 applications. The five newly appointed at-large members are:
- Chelsea Dorsey, MD
- Katherine Gallagher, MD
- Robert Molnar, MD
- Vikram Kashyap, MD
- Yazan Duwayri, MD
These appointees bring various experiences and expertise, strengthening SVS leadership and furthering its commitment to supporting vascular health and care.
