The one-day meeting encourages interactive participation of all attendees and emphasizes emerging vascular science. A detailed syllabus will be distributed closer to the meeting date.
Scheduled the day before the American Heart Association's Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) Scientific Sessions, and at the Hilton San Francisco. VRIC is considered a key event for meeting and reconnecting with vascular research collaborators.
Abstracts are scheduled to open on November 1, 2017 and will close on January 10, 2018. This year, there is an additional step to signing in. Abstract submitters will need to log-in to the Oasis abstract submission system through a portal on the AHA website. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one.
Trainee Travel Scholarship
SVS Foundation supports travel scholarships for trainees to attend the annual Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC). Top-scoring abstracts submitted to the VRIC by trainees will be considered for the award. The travel scholarship consists of complimentary registration to the VRIC and the Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) meeting and a $1,000 award for conference travel.
