Mentored Research Career Development Awards

The SVS Foundation Mentored Research Career Development Awards Program provides supplemental funding to vascular surgeon scientists who have been awarded a mentored research career development award from National Institutes of Health (NIH) or the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Clinical Research Seed Grant

The SVS Foundation offers the Clinical Research Seed Grant in recognition of the importance of clinical investigation in vascular disease.

James S.T. Yao Resident Research Award

The submission period is now closed.

The James S. T. Yao Resident Research Award is intended to motivate physicians early in their training to pursue their interest in research that explores the biology of vascular disease and potential translational therapies.  

Student Research Fellowship

The submission period is now closed. 

The SVS Foundation Student Research Fellowship stimulates laboratory and clinical vascular research by undergraduate college students and medical school students registered at universities in the United States and Canada.

Vascular Research Initiatives Conference Trainee Award

The submission period is now closed.

The SVS Foundation supports this award for trainees to present their research at the annual Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC). Top-scoring abstracts submitted to the VRIC by trainees will be considered for the award.  

Vascular Care for the Underserved Project Grants

The SVS Foundation's Vascular Care for the Underserved (VC4U) Project Grants support initiatives to find solutions to the significant disparities in vascular surgery care delivery across the United States.

VOYAGE Scholarship

The SVS Foundation and the SVS Young Surgeons Section announce the VOYAGE Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to support early-career vascular surgeons by offering opportunities to enhance their education, expand their networks and engage actively with the broader community in vascular surgery.
