Turning the National Day of Giving into a Full Month
Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving back where charities call on their constituents to make donations. Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving. This year, the day of giving falls on the last day of November, inspiring the SVS Foundation leaders to turn the single day of giving into an entire month. Giving November is an excellent opportunity for the vascular community to donate to a cause that works tirelessly to improve the vascular surgery specialty for the surgeons, supporting staff and their patients.
During this month-long initiative, members of the SVS Executive Board, SVS Foundation Board of Directors and the SVS Foundation Development Committee Chairs are generously holding a Matching Gift Challenge of up to $20,000 in donations. Give during November and see your dollars doubled in contribution size; a $100 donation will equate to $200, $250 will equal $500, etc. all the way up to the matching gift goal of $20,000. Your gift today will double in value and impact.
