SVS is moving to a tiered registration fee model in 2023. This includes an early-bird registration rate that will be available for the first three weeks of registration. Moving to this model incentivizes early registration which helps the SVS to earlier project total VAM attendance and maintain rising costs.
NEW THIS YEAR: To secure a hotel room at the venue, you must first be registered for the meeting. The cutoff date to reserve your hotel room is May 17, 2023.

Affiliate and Alumni Organization Request
The SVS is happy to offer space to our affiliate and alumni organizations for meals, meetings, and receptions. Please complete the corresponding space/function request form and submit for approval. Please note that a request is not a guarantee of space and you will receive a confirmation when your space has been approved and your function scheduled.
CME Process Update
The American Board of Surgery (ABS) Will Discontinue the CME Credit Self-Claiming Process for Diplomates on July 1, 2023. Act now so you don't lose earned CME credits.
ABS recently made changes to its CME processes, which impact the way that Diplomates interact with the Board, upload CME credits, and meet Certification requirements. SVS is committed to complying with the new rules and making your ability to claim credit as seamless as possible, however, we are still in the process of aligning our systems to meet these new requirements. To ensure all your CME credits earned with SVS are transferred to the ABS, follow the steps outlined on our webpage.
