VAM 2022 - FAQs

  • What are the Health and Safety protocols that will be taken at the VAM this year?

  • How do I retrieve my login information while on-site at the VAM?
    • If you do not remember your username and password, you can reset them. If you require further assistance, please contact membership@vascularsociety.org or visit the on-site Tech Help Desk located in Ballroom A/B Foyer.
  • How do I log into the mobile app?
    • If you do not already have the mobile app, you can search “SVS Events” in the App Store/Google Play. Download the app to your device. Once it has been downloaded, launch the app. The app will ask you for a username and password, this is the same username and password you use to sign in to your SVS account.
  • What are the VAM registration fees?
    • Please find the VAM registration fees here.
  • What ticketed events are available for purchase outside of the VAM registration?
    • The VQI Annual Meeting and the RPVI Exam Review Course are the only two ticketed events available to purchase individually.
  • What if I am attending the meeting for only one day?
    • Currently, only full registration is available.
  • If I cannot attend VAM in person, how can I participate?
    • You may access live-streamed sessions by registering through the VAM registration page. You can access streamed sessions via the streaming tiles, found on the landing page of the online planner, or via the mobile app.
  • Do I still have to pay for the event if I am just speaking at one session?
    • Yes, all faculty are required to pay the registration fee.
  • I am a poster presentation presenter; do I have to pay the VAM registration fee?
    • Yes, if you are a presenter, you are required to pay the registration fee.
  • Can I put my poster up early? If so, where?
    • Yes. The exhibit hall opens at 10:00 am on Thursday and all posters must be ready for display prior to the start of your assigned poster session. As a reminder, all posters must be removed at the close of the show at 5:00 pm on Friday, or they will be discarded.
  • Are breakfast and lunch included in the registration? How do I obtain a ticket?
    • Breakfast and lunch are included on Thursday and Friday in the exhibition hall. When registering for the VAM, please select the specific day(s), and a ticket will be provided to you at registration. Tickets are also available on-site at registration.
  • Is there an age minimum for Guest Passes?
    • Yes, the minimum age is 21.
  • What does a Guest Pass allow access to?
    • A guest pass allows access to any events in the Plenary Room and admission into the exhibition hall.
  • I am registered for the VAM, how do I claim CE?
    • You can claim CE two ways, on the website or through the mobile app. You will have to sign in using your SVS username and password.
  • If I registered for SVN or VQI, do I have access to the VAM?
  • Can SVN registrants claim CE?
    • Yes. Contact forms will be distributed at the SVN session, or you may apply for a certificate of attendance through the CE application link found in the mobile app or on the SVS website (vascular.org) but you must have registered for the VAM in advance.
  • If I registered for VQI, do I have access to the VAM?
    • Yes, you have access to all VAM events but are required to pay additional fees for select courses, if applicable.
  • Will I have access to the sessions after the meeting?
    • Yes, you will be able to access the recorded sessions via the online planner the week following VAM.
  • How do I sign up for the Mock Interview sessions?
    • The Mock Interview session is an invitation-only event with limited seats. Please contact education@vascularsociety.org if you are interested in participating.
  • Can I still sign up for BINGO?
  • Where can I get a receipt?
    • If you are on-site, go to the registration counter and request that one be emailed to you. Or you can email vascular@vascularsociety.org to request a copy of your receipt.
