Here are some things to look forward to at this year’s meeting:

SVS Foundation Vascular Spectacular - Northern Lights Gala

Career Fair

The SVS is excited to announce the addition of a career fair for VAM 2020. Taking place at the exhibit hall during Friday’s exhibit hours, the career fair is an excellent opportunity to connect with representatives from hospitals and health care organizations, chat with doctors and further explore the field of vascular surgery. The career fair is open to all attendees.

General Surgery Residents/Medical Students Program

General surgery residents and medical students can look forward to the continuation of a program specifically for them. Those aspiring to pursue a vascular career will have the opportunity to participate in simulation training, attend lectures and meet representatives from residency programs from around the nation.

Those with the SVS General Surgery Resident/Medical Student VAM Travel Scholarship will have the opportunity to join these sessions and other events exclusive to scholarship recipients.

Vascular Surgery Residents/Fellows Program

A dedicated program for vascular surgery residents and fellows will be returning to the Vascular Annual Meeting. The Residents/Fellows Program will provide opportunities for attendees to network with field leaders and hear presentations on emergency vascular care and pediatric care, as well as “non-clinical” topics including advocacy involvement and leadership development.
