The SVS Foundation Bridge Grant is intended to help mid-career vascular surgeon investigators maintain their critical research efforts amidst gaps in their funding.
The SVS Foundation Disaster Relief Fund provides emergency assistance for vascular surgery practices and vascular patients in disaster-devastated communities. The SVS Foundation (SVSF) is committed to Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) members in these areas who are devoted to their patients and our mission to save lives and limbs.

The Presidents Council of the SVS Foundation was established in 2016 by its founding donor, Peter Lawrence, MD, Foundation Chair. As the immediate past president of the SVS, Dr. Lawrence wanted to demonstrate his appreciation for the unique opportunity afforded to him by the SVS during his tenure as president by making a major contribution to the Foundation’s endowment fund.

ARTICLE I. Name
The name of this Corporation is The Society for Vascular Surgery (hereinafter the "Society"). It represents a merger in 2003 of The Society for Vascular Surgery, founded in 1947, and the American Association for Vascular Surgery, founded in 1952.
Candidate membership is available to those graduated from a vascular training program who have not yet obtained their boards. This membership level is available for up to three years post-graduation, at which time Candidate members must apply for Active membership. Candidate members may apply for Active membership at any time before the three years have expired.
Post-graduate Candidate membership dues are $65 a year, due December 31 starting the year after graduation.

This program will provide a way for SVS members to bring complaints of unprofessional conduct of any nature, including false advertising, unscrupulous business practices, substance abuse or failure to retain qualifications, in addition to fraudulent expert witness testimony.
