Society for Vascular Surgery Honors Nurses
Society for Vascular Surgery members know that caring for vascular surgery patients is truly a team effort, and achieving the best outcomes for our patients would not be possible without the devoted excellence of our outstanding nurses. Nurses of every specialty, and particularly those who are vascular surgery nurses, ensure that we achieve optimal outcomes for our patients in the operating room, on the hospital units, and in the office through their knowledge and professionalism.
As we wrap up National Nurses Week, I want to thank our nursing partners for their dedication to our mission of doing the best for our patients, and urge our members to remember and recognize the importance of our highly skilled nursing colleagues. Whether they are pursuing advanced education and skills in new vascular procedures, or spending time to ensure that our patients understand their care plan, they are our eyes and ears, our extra hands and our valued, compassionate comrades.
