Education: VESAP4 Launching this Summer

Jun 22, 2017

Students and surgeons will soon have a valuable new learning tool, with the anticipated summer release of VESAP4. The new edition of VESAP will come just in time for the September board qualifying, certification and recertification exams.

This fourth edition of the Vascular Education Self-Assessment Program has many improvements and new features to make it even more useful and user-friendly, including:

  •     New and updated content throughout
  •     The addition of an IOS-compatible app (for Apple products only)
  •     Syncing between the desktop version and the IOS app
  •     Expanded bookmarking and annotation
  •     More user-friendly navigation
  •     Simplified tracking of CME/MOC certificates

VESAP3 expires on Sept. 1. After that date, no Continuing Medical Education or Maintenance of Certification self-assessment credits can be earned for VESAP3.

VESAP4, like VESAP3, will contain 10 sections, with 50 or more questions in each module. Modules can be purchased individually or as a complete package. Each module offers 7.5 CME credits; because it’s a self-assessment program, VESAP4 can also be applied to the MOC self-assessment requirement. Modules can be taken in any order, but credits can be earned during VESAP4’s threeyear life cycle, which begins at the time VESAP4 is released.

Each module features a learning mode and an exam mode. For more information contact the SVS Education Department at education@vascularsociety.org or 800-258-7188.
