Education: VAM Online, VESAP4

Aug 15, 2017

The 2017 Vascular Annual Meeting piled on the events: six postgraduate courses, and only time to attend three. Concurrent sessions that – true to their name – were held at the same time. Ditto with breakfast sessions. So, unless you used a time machine, there was no way to hit every session at VAM that you wanted to attend.

Now you can see what you missed, or view particularly useful sessions again. Purchase the On-Demand Library, a valuable resource of audio and slide recordings of numerous VAM educational session.

Cost is $199 for VAM attendees and $499 for non-attendees. No CME or MOC credit is available. To buy the library, with access for one year, visit vsweb.org/Recordings17.Updated VESAP4 Now Available

New Version Includes Mobile App VESAP4 is now available, complete with a companion app that will premier mid-month. The app lets users access the program off-line and then later sync with the desktop version.

Besides the important addition of the companion app (Apple products only), the fourth edition of the Vascular Education and Self-Assessment Program (VESAP) also is easier to navigate and offers new and updated content, simplified tracking of CME and MOC certificates and expanded bookmarking and annotation.

Instead of users having to keep track of 10 certificates, VESAP4 automatically updates one certificate, adding modules as they are completed.

The program continues to offer both learning and examination modes and the ability to earn both Continuing Medical Education credits (7.5 for each section, for a total of 75) and Maintenance of Certification self-assessment credits.

VESAP3 expires at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Sept. 1. After that, buyers can continue to use the product for studying but will no longer be able to claim CME or MOC credits. VESAP4 will expire in July 31, 2020. For more information and to purchase the program, visit vsweb.org/VESAP4.
