The Coding & Reimbursement for Vascular Surgeons course is an intensive program designed to provide a comprehensive review of current coding and reimbursement information, including critical updates.

The Society for Vascular Surgery® is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation of Credit
The Society for Vascular Surgery® designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This program meets AAPC guidelines for 11.5 CEUs. Can be used for Core A and all specialties except CIRCC for continuing education units. This program has the prior approval of AAPC for continuing education hours. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program content or the program sponsor.

Sean P. Roddy, MD, (Chair) is Professor of Surgery at Albany Medical College and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Additionally, Dr. Roddy is the CPT Advisor for the Society for Vascular Surgery and sits on the SVS Board of Directors as Chair of the Policy and Advocacy Council. He serves on numerous committees for both national and regional vascular surgery societies.
Teri Romano, BSN, MBA, CPC, CMDP, of Karen Zupko & Associates is a speaker and consultant in coding and reimbursement and participates as a faculty member in coding and reimbursement workshops sponsored by national medical specialty societies including the Society of Vascular Surgery, the American Association of Neurosurgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also provides customized coding and reimbursement courses directly to physicians and their staff as well as E & M and operative note audits to assist practices with their compliance activities.
Sunita D. Srivastava, MD, FACS, is Vice Chair of the CPT/RUC committee of the Society for Vascular Surgery. She is a practicing open and minimally invasive vascular surgeon in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She serves as the Quality Director and Radiation Safety Officer for the division as well as a member of AMC Fee Council which oversees the reimbursement contracts of the Partners Health Care System.
Robert M. Zwolak, MD, PhD, is a vascular surgeon and professor of surgery at Dartmouth Medical School and Chief of Surgery at Manchester VA Medical Center. He maintains a busy clinical practice in open and interventional vascular surgery. He has extensive vascular surgery coding expertise, having served on the SVS Health Policy Committee for over 15 years. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons General Surgery Coding and Reimbursement Committee, and he served two terms on the American Medical Association/Specialty Society Relative Value Update Committee (RUC). He is a past president of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
