The SVS invites abstracts for the 2016 Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC). The one-day meeting encourages interactive participation of all attendees and emphasizes emerging vascular science.
Scheduled the day before the American Heart Association's Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) Scientific Sessions, and at the same venue in Nashville. VRIC is considered a key event for meeting and reconnecting with vascular research collaborators.

Abstracts submitted to VRIC are simultaneously submitted to ATVB through a common submission system. The abstract site closed on January 25.
The Society for Vascular Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation of Credit
The Society for Vascular Surgery designates this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
VRIC will be held at the Omni Nashville, located in the heart of downtown, within easy access of area attractions.
The most convenient airport is Nashville International Airport (BNA). The Omni Nashville is located 7.8 miles from the airport, approximately 12 minutes away. At the time of writing, a taxi service is available to the hotel at a flat rate of US$25 (one-way and not including gratuity).
