2019 ANNUAL MEETING - THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2019
The Society's 41st Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Union League in Philadelphia.
Annual Meeting Abstract Submissions Now Open
Deadline: January 14, 2019
Abstracts to be presented at this meeting are now being requested from DVVS Members and residents/fellows and students in training. The Society also invites our Associate Members to submit your work.
Abstracts should be full-length presentations in areas of clinical and basic science research, as well as clinical reports of significant interest in the care of patients with vascular diseases including vascular practice management issues and other related topics relevant to all DVVS Members.
The Program Committee will be accepting abstracts that highlight, but are not limited to the following topics:
- Management of aortic aneurysms
- Technical implications of endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms
- Management of carotid disease, device technology and development
- Relationship of basic science research to clinical practice
- Role of preoperative non-invasive and invasive imaging in the management of occlusive and aneurysmal disease
- Hemodialysis access
- Topics related to peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, and wound care
BEST TRAINEE AWARD
Abstracts presented by our trainees will be eligible for the Clinical Research Award and Basic Science/Case Report Award.
DVVS members will conduct the review and scoring of these presentations. There will be monetary awards, as well as certificates presented to each winner at the evenings dinner.
