Disaster Relief Fund
The SVS Foundation Disaster Relief Fund supports programs that provide short-term emergency assistance and longer-term aid for vascular surgery practices and vascular patients in disaster-devastated communities.
The Disaster Relief Fund was established in October 2017 in response to hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. Other catastrophic events in Mexico and Santa Rosa, California, have strengthened the Foundation’s commitment to support SVS members in these areas who are devoted to their patients and our mission to save lives and limbs.
The Board of Directors is engaged in dialogue with SVS member volunteers in these communities and will ensure that applications for emergency assistance are reviewed and your donation will provide meaningful support to vascular surgery practices and the patients they serve.
We value your suggestions about the Disaster Relief Fund. Email the SVS Foundation with your feedback on the type of support that would be most helpful to vascular surgeons and their patients in these disaster areas.
