The Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School has an opening for well-qualified candidate to fill one (1) Integrated Resident position at PGY-2 level outside the match with plans to start in July 2024. Applicants must have completed ACGME accredited PGY 1 or PGY 2 year in either general surgery or integrated vascular surgery. The primary objective of Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency is to produce a balanced, qualified vascular surgeon prepared for practice in an academic and/or private practice environment.

EVMS’ Vascular Surgery Program is entering its 50th year of training fellows and residents, 74 graduates to-date.  The Integrated Resident will gain comprehensive experience in the management of vascular patients with open and endovascular techniques. At the end of the training, the Integrated Resident will meet the requirements to obtain RPVI and ABS or ABOS vascular surgery certifications.
