Vice president nominations now open
Dear SVS Member:
The SVS is a healthy, thriving, successful organization because of talented, dedicated vascular surgeons willing to commit their time and effort to leading the organization as its officers. As chair of the SVS Nominating Committee, it is my privilege to inform you that the 2018 nominations process for SVS officers is now open, and will remain open, until March 31, 2018.
Nominations for officer vacancies may be submitted by any Active category or Senior category SVS member. Members may self-nominate, or nominate others. The Nominating Committee will meet in April to review all nominations and select a slate of candidates to present to the membership at the June 23 Annual Business Meeting in Boston.

Please note in 2018 there is only one officer position open for nomination: Vice President. If you wish to nominate a candidate for Vice President, you will be asked to provide brief information on the nominee, including the nominee’s previous SVS leadership experience, duration of membership and availability to meet the time commitment required.
In addition to the Vice President nominee, the following slate of officers will be presented at the 2018 Annual Meeting for approval:
